Coeur d'Alene has three zip codes, sits at an elevation of 2,188ft above sea level, an estimated population of 52,000 as of our last census, a beautiful lake with sandy beaches and a community favorite Coeur d'Alene park that draws more than just people but breathtaking wildlife like the bald eagle, great blue heron and osprey.

The Federal Government established a military post here in 1879 when the community was still mostly wilderness and lumberjacks, the remnants of Ft. Sherman can still be toured on the North Idaho College campus, Coeur d'Alene's community college that prides itself on architectural grandeur and desire to provide premium higher level education.

Our fair city has five community event centers, five cemeteries, fifteen hotels, two public libraries, one museum and one captivating resort.
